V3 Sewer Projects -2025

Over the course of the last year, several adverse events in the Venture Out at St Lucie area have highlighted serious weaknesses in their sewer line infrastructure. One of the major areas of concern are those sewer lines that currently run along canal seawalls.

A collapsed seawall incident, in the spring of 2024, resulted in significant damages to the adjacent sewer lines and culminated in our lift stations  trying to pump the adjacent canal dry.

While a short term fix resolved this particular event, it is apparent that a long term solution must be initiated. Over time it will be necessary to move the problem lines from along the canals  to the street in front of the properties.

The map below provides a better understand on the scope of the project. The problem areas affect approximately half of the VOSL properties. The area in RED represents the most immediate concerned followed by those in GREEN.

While exact timelines have not yet been established, it is a project that we need to address soon. Discussions among the Operations Committee and the V3 Board will take place over the next few months to layout a plan.
